Priya Dutt
Has a right to this seat, because she is daughter of Mr Sunil Dutt, who was earlier representing this constituency.
Priya stays in this constituency and was elected as MP, after her fathers death, which according to her brother Sanjay Dutt, was caused because of the Congress, who admitted Sanjay Nirupam to congress, inspite of his opposition and some case of defamation filed by Dutt Saab against Nirupam.
Priya was decent enough not to pursue, the case filed against Nirupam by her father, after Congress got her elected to become MP.
Priya is good at attending various functions of socialites and does gives a small speech, whenever called upon. She also takes credit for roads being paved with blocks in Bandra and Khar. She also opposes the evictions of BanglaDeshis from slums on humanitarian grounds.
Priya has attended Parliament often, though has less than 50% attendance and believe it or not, she has spoken sometimes.
Mahesh Jethmalani
Has a right to this seat, because he is the Son of Mr Ram Jethmalani, who was earlier representing this constituency.
Though Mahesh has never stayed in this constituency, he will certainly shift his residence to this constituency, once elected.
Mahesh as a lawyer is fairly known and shines in the reflected light of his famous Lawyer father.
Mahesh cannot be blamed for the fast degrading Justice system, as he is only a small part of it. The criminal Justice system as become rotten because of the police, Lawyers and Judicial Officers, many of whose integrity is suspect, ( even the Chief Justice of India has acknowledged this fact ).
Mahesh even represented Mr Sanjay Dutt, without any charges. However, when I (Indur) had approached him in February 2008 to represent me, in a Public Interest Litigation ( PIL ) filed at Bombay High Court, to fast track cases against MPs and MLAs involved in criminal activity, he did not appear. Indur has stayed in this constituency since 1971, so he feels, he has a right to represent this constituency, though his father was never an MP or MLA or even in Politics. He claims his right to represent the constituency, because of his stay since 1971 and a fact that his father worked in Western Railway and this constituency has many WR suburbs.

Indur discovered, the Addl Commissioner of Police (Traffic) was getting about Rs 3 crores EVERY MONTH UNDER THE TABLE after having provided facilities FREE to an Advertisement company, to put up ads at all traffic intersections across Mumbai (from which the company earns Rs 8-9 crores EVERY MONTH ) ...
